Our History
While in the beginning, Orchid Lake was a place for summer fun for many owners, today Orchid Lake is a year round home for its residents.
Those who live at Orchid Lake see it as a unique environmental gem that allows escape from the rattle and tumble of a chaotic world outside. Here, one can find solace and peace of mind and commune with nature.

Board of Directors Elected
At our Annual Meeting in October, we voted for the new Board members to serve a three-year term. The positions include President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Director. The secretary will need to assume all secretarial duties for the Board.
Board members must:
- Have their name listed on a deed of property located within Orchid Lake Estates,
- Be an HOA member in good standing which means dues are paid in full for the current year and they have incurred no violations within the previous six months, and
- There can only be one member from a family serving as a Board member
The new Board members are: Michael Mull, President, Kathie Cavendish, Vice President, Richard Cromwell, Treasurer, Alyson deBondt, Secretary, and Corinne de Jesus, Member at Large. Board members can be contacted at orchidlakeestates1@gmail.com.
The entrance update is in the works! A new sign is being installed and the fencing was removed.
The gravel disbursement has been completed. Please note that two gravel piles are available at the Pavilion and boat ramp for your convenience to help fill in potholes.
